Some time back, we reviewed the Samsung i85 digital camera which, although an average camera, is an excellent example of convergence of various aspects of personal technology (like camera, PMP, Tour guide function, etc.) incorporated into a single device. Today, we've received a similar camera from Samsung -- the i8. It's small, peppy and has almost all the features of its elder cousin the Samsung i85.
The only major difference between the two is that the i8 has a 38-144mm (eff) 3x optical zoom lens as compared to the 36-180mm (eff) 5x optical zoom lens on the i85.
