This mobile phone's main attraction is the mobile tracker feature.
Mobile phone companies have been working hard to develop feature-rich mobiles that are light on the wallet. You've got phones from Nokia, LG, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung to name a few but the problem is that all of them tend to pack the same facilities (bluetooth, music player, camera and expandable memory). So when a new phone from the relatively unknown Sagem was introduced, it was possible that it would beat about in obscurity, unless it was offering something that the others did not.
The Sagem Bleu453x does exactly that. While it packs the usual suspects, it also packs another feature that is generally missing from other phones or not up to the same standard as this phone. The feature in the spotlight is the mobile tracker. Or as Sagem calls it, "Mobile Tracker Ka Baap".
The usual mobile tracker is simple. When you buy the phone, you set two numbers in the mobile tracker application, set a password and then use your phone. Suppose your phone is robbed and the SIM is removed, the mobile tracker comes in very handy. When a new SIM card is entered, the phone sends a message to the two numbers giving the phone number of the new phone. You can then track down the new user using this info.
This phone's mobile tracker takes it one step ahead. This mobile tracker essentially gives the owner control over the phone once a new SIM card is entered. The original user can switch off the phone, divert incoming calls and messages to a chosen number, lock the phone, format the phonebook and the to-do list to prevent data theft - all this by sending messages to the phone.
