This is Motorola's first attempt at a 5MP camera and that too a Kodak Imaging branded camera.
Good Build, Design and build, 5MP Camera with Xenon Flash, Music Quality, WiFi, Price.
Incomplete Multi-tasking, Poor QCIF video recording, No Sport Mode, Memory Card slot not hotswappable.
Hot-swappable, my boy, means that one is able to change the card even while the phone is on... i.e. as in the SE K850i... unhappily, the ZN5 has it's card slot under the battery, so one wil have to shut down the phone and remove the battery in order to change cards.

in india service is not good like nokia handset allredy i am face promblem but it cant slove from service center in india mumbai pune office i purchace motorola zn 5 handset i march,10,2009 but only eight day go i face problem in hanset auto off auto on camera clerity problem all redy i gave him handste to repair it till it's pending reply me

If you're buyig a Moto, cross your fingers and hope that the phone doesnt develop any problem, worse if it happens within the warranty period. Their after-sales service totally sucks, and cursed be you if you're sent to a Redington service centre. Buy a Moto if you're willing to throw it away at the slightest problem.

the only good thing about the ZN5 is 5MP camera at cheaper rate, no flash player inbuild neither downloadable, poor video, average music...

Good Review - right on the money. there are a few modifications to the interface compared to the u9 and z6 phones but apart from that everything else is the same with the zn5 its strange that the OS is slow though - especially compared to the z6 which is very quick in comparison but my guess is software upgraded will fix that and thats my only concern with this phone really once they fix the lag issues then moto could be onto a winner.

i bought this phone a few days back, the camera is very fast even in 5mp mode. it's an mp3 player, phone and camera all in one neat device so that's a plus for me

this error kept nagging at me throughout the review : "the memory card slot is not hot swappable". how the hell can the slot be hot swappable? it is the damn card that is swappable.
