The C375 is one of Motorola's six recently launched low to mid-budget mobile phones. As it has been noticed with most recent Motorola releases, we could expect more emphasis on the looks rather than functionality. And that's exactly what we got.
Looks
The Motorola C375 comes bundled with just the battery, charger and the manual. No headset, no data cable and no CD-ROM for the necessary software.
The phone looks cute and compact as it stands at 100 x 44 x 22 mm and weighs 92 g. The front and the side transparent colour panels indicate that the phone is meant to be used as a style accessory more than a true utility phone, which is quite sad considering that the excess panel space could have been easily used for a bigger display or a more comfortable keypad.
The C375 sports a 96 x 65 pixel, 4096 colour LCD display, which may be ok for a phone if it used the space well, but with the gigantic fonts and the pixelated overall display it was a bit too cluttered. Besides the display matrix outlines are too visible for comfort and make the colours look washed out. This display would probably be appealing to users who are upgrading from an ultra-low budget phone.
The second area of discomfort was the numeric keypad. Though the navigational buttons were well placed and quite comfortable to an extent, the numeric keypad was quite uncomfortable. Typing quick SMS messages gets a little tardy after a while because of the small sized buttons and the lack of distance between them. For other basic functions, it works pretty well though as long as you don't have much typing to do.
Overall the phone is quite decent visually, with the kind of looks that may appeal to young girls and probably a few queer men.
Features
Being the stylish phone that it is, the Motorola C375 is loaded with multimedia features like themes, pictures, and ringtones. The static pictures can be used as wallpapers on the phone and the animated ones as screensavers. Selecting a theme changes all the multimedia features to match the theme, which you can customize to your liking if you want. The ringtones are polyphonic midis, which you can remix using the MotoMixer mode. Extra theme contents like wallpapers, and ringtones can be downloaded via GPRS or through the data cable.
Besides SMS, the C375 also supports MMS and EMS and supports connectivity using GPRS. It also supports Java games and applications.
The C375 features three pre-installed Java games, namely DJ Colette, Kick Champion, and Mahki. Kick Champion and Mahki are the highlights of the games section with their tremendously simple and addictive gameplay and high production value. You can easily spend hours on these games whenever you have the time to kill.
Other utilities include a calendar, a calculator that supports currency exchange and an alarm.
Though the phone is not at all bad with its features, it does have a slow-down problem that tends to get frustrating after a while. Just accessing your images ends up being a loading nightmare. You may even get frustrated with the slowdown while playing the games.
Bottom Line
The C375's basic functions were well in place, with clear voice quality and good network reception. The battery life is pretty good too; you can expect it to last for four days of regular usage.
With a price like Rs. 7,495 with bill and warranty (under Rs. 7,000 street price), this phone is a mixed bag. If you're looking for something that boasts more style than functionality, and if a colour screen stands above everything else then this phone may just about suit your purpose. But if you are into heavy messaging or if functionality matters the most to you then you may want to skip this one.

I am not sure if you still have this problem... I was browsing this site for the same prob. I could find the fix by doing so: Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options > Modems Tab > Click the Bluetooth Modem Properties > Advanced Tab > enter the extra initialization commands. This extra initialization command text would be given by your cellphone operator.

The Motorola Model No. C 350 is really very pathetic. I don't know why the people is going for as it seems so good having a good feature but you cant use that all for eg. downloading the ringtones this handset is not compatible with any service provider, You can not store or save any setting which is coming through the SMS as an attachment. If you will go through the Manual and look you will definitely go for this but for the practical comfort forget this model where you will get the better piece availabe in the market in the same price range

Hey gang, Its me again. I got connected thru the Airtel GPRS today and also bought the Data Cable and the software. It costed me about Rs 1033/- . The Airtel personnel were pretty skeptical about connecting to internet thru the computer as all the GPRS connected people were using only Nokia Mobiles. Yes I did have some difficulty. But there was a guy who helped me to sort all the issues and I did connect to internet thru my C375. (SUCCESS) This message is being posted thru the GPRS connection. Come join the fun.

Hello Mr Pathy, I am a student and a Motorola C375 user. Again an airtel customer. I ve been trying it hard with those Airttel customer care people to make my mobile connect to the GPRS. Its almost been 2 weeks and i am calling their customer support daily and i stay at madurai. Can u please send me the configuration that you had enterd in the websessions in the Web access. Is there any other setting to be made. And the Airtel people have informed that they have activated the Masala stuff ie the GPRS but please help me with this. Praveen, Madurai.

Hai Pathy, I have also got C375. Can you guide me as where we can buy data cable and the driver and how to install it. Though I have got AIRTEL with GPRS facility I am unable to install it on my computer since I could not find out the data cable.

Hi Pathy, I Have problem when i connect c375 with the PC. PC detect the USB modem.And I wil make the Dial connection. when we dial the connection at the point of regresting our computer in the network the error will occur "PPP Link control protocol are terminated

hi! Nice to know there are people who think beyond a nokia.I've just switched from a nokia 3650 to Moto A925 and boy do I love it! :) I'm trying to connect to the net using the Mobile Office service of Airtel and WHen I called up CC for the setings for my handset, they say that the A925 isn't available on their list of supported devices! But the A920 is.Anybody with an A925 who's accesing GPRS in Mumbai (or anywhere else in India) can help me out with manually configuring the service? I'm already subscribed to the Mobile Office service and it was working Fine on my 3650.Just need the settings for the A925.I HAVE loaded 'default GPRS' application to edit the default GPRS on the unlocked A925! ;)

Hi, Pathy There are many who uses C375 but we are not getting the Airtel GPRS, Settings, the Software Required, driver , and data cable, I think we can arrange for the data cable, could you please guide us with the software, driver, and settings. I you have software could you please send it to me or create some group in yahoo and upload it, or if you can send it to me through e-mail, I will uploade it in the Group so every once can download it from there. my e-mail is smarty_m2@rediffmail.com

Hello, I have purchased a C-115 motrola handset & after two month of purchasing this set is not working properly. I can listen but no body can listen to me.
