Viewing HD content on this 32-incher is a pleasure

Good feature set, attractive bezel design, DivX thru USB, vibrant colours

Black levels are a little weak

Not everyone has a big living room to adorn it with a 42-inch LCD TV and so today we have something a little smaller and more affordable from LG. This comes from their 35FR series, which can be considered as an update to their previous LF20 series. Looking at the 32-inch models from both the series we find that they share very similar features except for the USB port present in the newer 35FR series. All seems to look good as of now, so let's see if this performs as well as it looks.

Let us just go over the basic specifications; this 32 incher supports a 1920x1080 resolution, IPS panel, 80000:1 Dynamic Contrast, 4ms response time, DivX through USB, 3x HDMI jacks and so on.

Bundle

The remote this time around is smaller and the buttons actually have a better feedback compared to the other remotes from LG. There is a distinctive click feel to it which makes it more ergonomic.

Three comments. 1. This was available for around 32K during Diwali. I don't think the price is any different now. The LF20 was around 30K 2. The main problem with this model is that it has just one component in. If anyone is considering this TV, keep this in mind. 3. Dynamic contrast ratio is not a good enough measure. True static contrast is a better measure. on this measure, Samsung scores over LG. To check this out, compare in dark scenes.

I got LG 32LH35FR with Philips Home Theater system HTS3181(FREE) at 31,800 Rs. Brought it from Croma, there was some offer for 3 days. I guess this is good enough deal?

i always like to see the reviews finishing off with the little comparison of its predecessor at the same price & better value range, so readers can avoid investing their money on the poor products n look into the recommended product mentioned:) Otherwise good review.
