Here's an all-in-one player to resolve clutter on your computer. It has loads of features pooled in. Does that make it the ultimate player? You decide.
Interface and Resource Usage
The interface is quite smooth to play your music and videos on. Its design gives you a very fresh feeling making it quite appealing. There are loads of features too. I recommend you trying the player out for a whole week to check out all that you know of it and discover more. It even has a feature that changes the inlay color every time you play a new file; this doesn't affect the CPU usage much. To top that, the player also packs visualizations to enhance your music listening. Naturally, the visualizations hike the usage up quite a bit.

Out of the 5 free media players I have, this is by far the best.

what about other lossless formats playback such as .ape & .flac etc. ? nice player but I would still suggest stick to k-lite codec pack + windows media player 11 Or if you're a professional user and need more features go with K-lite codec pack + media player classic (already bundled with the pack) Only it matters how you install the codec pack. Fewer is better no need to install the whole package if you don't need the other codecs.

Is it better than Winamp.. for audio (I dont use winamp for video anyway)
by WilderNess, Pune, on Jul 02, 2007 02:03 PM, Report abuse Reply
If you use winamp stick with it for audio. Use DSP Enhancer Plugin if you are not using. By far the best sound you can get is with this deadly combination. Dont forget to enable this plugin incase it doesnt..google 'wiki Enhancer' see download link posted there.
