In-earphones are gaining immense popularity; with several brands venturing into this genre of audio-accessories, it's good for the end-consumer as they get to have more choice.
We had received two sets of headphones from JBL sometime back. One was the Reference 410, which we have reviewed, and the other was Reference 220, which we have for you today. These earphones are quite similar to the Creative EP 630 and Bose In-Ear headphones which were also featured on Techtree in the past months. Adding to that, even Sony Ericsson has bundled similar headsets for most of their Walkman phones.
The competition seems to be growing, let us see how this product from JBL performs.
Most audiophiles agree that they are much better than Sennheisers, Sony's, creative's, even bose's in that range.. I'm getting a "super.fi 3 studio"

I have tried some in-ear phones, and I am also of the belief that they hurt after more than 30-40 minutes of music because of the air-tightness....I have the bose in-ear phones and they provide for a more comfortable listening for more than 2 hours because they are not really the in-ear types....maybe for 30 mins of music I could get these,but they wont really solve the purpose....Techtree,now can we have some sennheisers on test

I don't think in ear earphones are that bad. I hate the regular earphones that never fit in my ear. Here, you get 3 types of earbuds that will suit anyone.
