Boring-looking boxy external hard drives are passe; many sport stunning looks today. While we have reviewed a few such elegant drives before, the one we got today looks completely different from the rest. The Iomega eGo Desktop Hard Drive 1TB drive is what we are talking about and this has certainly got looks that will make heads turn. As is the case with every product we receive, it is the performance that matters the most. Read on, as we try to find out whether or not the drive performs as good as the looks it sports.
Bundle:
Iomega does not provide a software CD with this drive. Instead, the software is available for download from the site and the license code for them is mentioned on the included brochure. It does not come with a carry pouch, though we would have liked one to carry the drive and protect from scratches.
