Before the invention of Web-mail, everybody on the Internet back then had to use e-mail clients to communicate. Despite the fact that Web-mail interface has gotten much better now (thanks to Web 2.0), many people still use e-mail clients on a regular basis to send and receive messages. There are a lot of such applications out there and most of them are tailored for hardcore use in the professional world. But the application that I'm reviewing today takes e-mail to a different, more creative level.

Incredimail Xe is an e-mail client designed to make e-mailing more fun. Right from its installation, the interface is nothing short of spectacular. It's got catchy icons and a stream-lined interface; which has been updated in the Xe version to complement the Windows XP default blue theme. I noticed that the interface is very similar to the one on Microsoft's Outlook Express; right from the arrangement of the mailbox contents to the drop-down menus. Thus OE users will feel right at home.
A search-pane is placed right on the main screen to find that needle in your haystack of messages.

A think which is very important and it seems nobody pay attention to it , is the fact of use of differnet identities. The wonderful thing of different identiteis - more than protect the acces by a differnet users : specially when you only work with your PC at home.- is the importance of it when you use two or more mail adresses and you donīt want to have a Chaos in your PC when they are togheter in just one identity ( as i happen with the very bad Windows mail) . That feature is extremely good.

I have the latest version of IncrediMail and I pay for the Premium plus extras and I love using it but I have been having trouble for some time which IM knows about and the new Build has not fixed it. When I send any mail it sits in the Outbox and even though the Box on the right hand corner of the Browser says it is sent I can't open up another e-mail or do anything on the screen whatsoever until the box has cleared and this can take up to 50 seconds. I have tried do send mail on Hotmail, Yahoo and I am now using Outlook Express as my Default mail Provider( until IM is fixed) and this does not happen. Shiran knows my problem. Bette

absolutely free with almost all the extra attractive features also available. The only disappointment is the Junk Filter is not available. This causes a lot of junk mail to pop in. All else cool. Go for it. I have had it ever since it first came out.
