Haze (PS3) Demo Impressions

After months of speculation, the game is ultimately slated for release on the PS3. Here are the demo impressions.
Plot
Let me tell you a bit about the plot of the game before getting on with the demo impressions. I had earlier written a preview about Haze last year; now certain crucial factors have been changed, although the plot remains same. So let me give you a brief intro to the plot. (This is a part of my previous preview, the full preview can be read here.)
In the future, Mantel Global Industries have taken over everything; they are the biggest force and their private military is a major asset for them. The game is set in the year 2048 when Mantel is fighting against a group of South American rebels called The Promise Hand. The two have been at war since a major catastrophe occurred at the World Games.
Although we don't get a clear idea about what exactly happened, a trailer (click below) depicts that hell broke loose at the event, killing many civilians. Among the innocent civilians killed was the mother of a certain Shane Carpenter. You can hear Shane say that he would not have survived past the age of 20 if it weren't for Mantel. Shane later joins Mantel Corporation as a Sergeant and fights for their causes.
Why does Shane credit Mantel for saving him is something we will know only when the game is released. Although what we can decipher is that it has something to do with Nectar; Mantel's very own creation, Nectar is a drug that can apparently work wonders. Mantel is a company known for their extensive research in the science of biology. Nectar, a performance enhancing drug is used by soldiers in the battlefield to perform better. They can use Nectar to boost their sight, accuracy, aim, and strength. This added advantage makes soldiers in Mantel's army stronger than any other force on the planet.

i thought Halo 3 looked bad...WOW this game looks like it was built on a PS2 engine, very poor i was shocked. This game was built for the term generic FPS, i wont be getting this....
