The single player is great, the game looks good, but the star of the show is Halo 3 online. Read on for more.
as halo 3 came out like many i was there at 12:00 getting my copy must say that i really enjoyed playing the single player the only thing that after 5hr of game it came down to a very unwanted end .... come on we all hoped to finally see his face at least or a corpse....(point at which i threw my controller and turn the console off) then i heard the rumor of the video after the credits so one more round later i saw the video and it still was no good the over all game was great just the ending was not..

Iwas almost in tears becasue of the end before the credits. Game was great, one thing I think they should have brought in was AI life like animals that were nuteral. Fighting the flood, well worry that a dinasaur type creature wasn't going to get you could have picked play up ten fold

i don,t get how the arbiter got home but the chief was still floating in space. i thought they were both in the same aircraft

Please give us a break. There have been far better single player campaigns. Halo 3 isn't one of them.

Dude your so called review seems to be WIPED OFF THE FLOOR WITH m$ WRITTEN ALL OVER IT...I notice you've failed to mention other games in that same genre (Bioshock) have a better grip on the storyline and gameplay....It's the multiplayer package of HAlo 3 that propels itself into instant stradom not its single player and btw live is yet to hit India...

I wonder if talking up Bioshock would have gotten a "dude, it has 2kgames written all over it." MS-bashing is no longer the nerdy-cool thing to do. Get over it. Also, read his review again. He isn't talking much about the single player campaign. If that wasn't clue enough that he's concentrating on the multiplayer aspect because that's what gains Halo its credibility, then maybe he should say so clearly. Oh wait, he did. And Live "officially" launched in India in mid-September. Don't throw back a weak argument about how it didnt make sense to review multiplayer since it's not officially available yet ? other than contradicting yourself, no one wants to read two reviews of Halo 3, because then people would just accuse navneet of wiping off the floor with MS written all over it.

"let's talk about the lengthy but brilliantly crafted single player campaign." .. In the game's standard difficulty, the campaign ends in about 10 hours. That's not lenghty in my book. It might seem lenghty to those who're used to... ermm.. shorter things. The rest of the review seems pretty half hearted too. Do you hate your job Navneet? Techtree's quality seems to be plunging deeper in to an abyss of cowdung!

Believe the hype, Halo 3 is certainly one of the best games not only on 360 but in all platforms. The story line is 8 hours longs (not 5 or 6hrs) and if you have not played any halo game till now it may take even 10-12 hours. But start to end its edge of the seat gameplay.

One of the reasons that the game is too short is because you don't stop playing it for hours! It has the some awesome singleplayer campaigns, I don't think multiplayer is 'by far' the best feature at all...

If you've completed the first two games on heroic and/or legendary and decided to play the single player campaign of Halo 3 on Easy or Normal, you're an idiot, and you deserve everything you get. Stop complaining that the campaign was too short. You just played it on a difficulty reserved for eleven year old girls. Grow some balls and start the campaign again on legendary.

i played halo 3 and it wasn't what yall hyped it up to be .I have and to me Warhawk is way better and u have more people that can play online in one match.(warhawk can get 32 player when halo only 16)

this wot i fink halo 1 2 and 3 are amazing but 3 let me down abit becoz ov the length ov campainge i play easy then normal then heroic so on and it took me half a day to complete it it woz so much ov a let down the campainge but it earns itself on online play

I had never played halo game before this one. Hearing that everyone loves the first 2 and its xbox's trademark and all, i was pumped. But playing this game i found nothing special about it. it is just like every other shooting game out there. Major dissapointment.

Er..It took me just 1 sitting to finish half the game(barely 2 hours!!!!)...the action was frenetic,visuals were great as expected and the game play as addictive as halo 2. BTW is live available here in India...I am not so sure and I don't knw and I have no idea hw Navneet Prakash managed to get some multiplayer action....but Indian gamers are certainly gonna be disappointed with the length of the single player campaign....way too short and it feels more like an episode more than anything else.

I've been using Live in Bombay for over 18 months now, albeit on the U.S. servers, so yes, you can use Live in India, even though there are no local servers atm.

Hey Navneet have you actually played the game? Even though matchmaking is a cool option it's a pain to get connected AND NOT a breeze like you mentioned in the half baked review. Now I know you don't play most of the stuff you review so why not do us and the world a favor by writing on some other stuff besides games

ive heared that halo 3 is fundamentaly the same game as halo 2 cept with better graphics and more weps and vehicles. if i wanted a game with a crosshair the size of a dinner plate and with pretty graphics id just play battlefield 2.

just picked up my copie of Halo 3 yesterday with a 360 and you explianed the game perfect from what ive played of it!!!i hope to get my xbox live working tomarrow! maybe ill be playing some of you... watch out for me! P.S. i recommend this game to every1!!!
