Gaming performance, Price, Style, HDMI out.
Weight, Battery life, limited resolution.
HP's DV line of laptops are the ultimate entertainment machines and now with the DV5 they are going to push the limit even further. As one of the first laptops we've received that runs on a Centrino 2 platform, it's supposed to provide better speed efficiency and consume power than conventional laptops. Let's see if it can live up to the hype.

Sorry but those pictures where the worst, could only help people from not buying a laptop. You could even see the camera on that touchpad. Could have hired a pro photographer. Also what point you are trying to make by comparing a notebok processor to a quad core. Which potential buyer is gonna gain from that info. You really do expect to have a quad core on a 15 inch lappy? Also the specification provided have very limited info.

This is really a good notebook for those people who wants to use higher graphic in low price rate........ its gr8.

One of the most pathetic reviews. We do not need reviews which describe the product, rather what we need is an actual performance review (system, application, hardware, software, battery, upgradability, build, value for money, competetion and price points etc). Even a 10year old kid using laptops would know about KENSINGTON Locks..!!

How about WiFi connectivity? Does it have a built-in 5xxx series 11n card? or Bluetooth?
