Supports 45 nm Intel processors and PCIe 2.0, Excellent overclocking support, Power saving DES2, Good components, CrossFireX multi-GPU support, Silent, eSATA/SATA brackets.
Not significantly faster than P35-based motherboards, certain components come in the way of others, no additional brackets for additional ports.
Gigabyte provides eSATA brackets with this motherboard instead of building such ports on the motherboard itself. There are some good things and some bad things about this. The good thing is that you can connect not just eSATA devices, but even normal SATA devices to this bracket; thanks to the 4-Pin Molex power socket that is just right for the SATA power adapter cable that is also included along with the SATA cable in the bundle. The bad thing is that internally, you have to connect the SATA cables to the ports on the motherboard, thus you end up with less number of ports for internal SATA devices. This is not much of an issue, unless you happen to have something like four SATA hard drives and two SATA optical drives.

gigabit cannot beat MSI or Asus any how b'coz gigabyte mobos have after run DMA problems and hardware interface performance optimization problems inherently it suks some of the times those using gigabyte mobos for long time u ask them they wont be getting the consistent performance out of it, and reliablity too is also mordrate.....

this board is really looking to full fill the technology .It can really upgrade your life . Go ahead with this ...over all Gigabyte is available with its ranges of MB's around 12 to 16 models . All is having dynamic energy saver.

Well this motherboard seems to be pretty good and even the review has been great this time from techtree !!! The only complaint i have is that theres not much perfomance test done like using SLI !!And even the card is just 9600GT could have used 9800 series card
