Way too many bugs, too many ads, really bad voice acting.

It's not everyday that one comes across a game based on a Hindi movie, which in turn is based on a Tamil movie that was inspired from an English film. Ghajini the game is based on the Blockbuster Hindi film, Ghajini, starring Aamir Khan and is a worthy effort from FX Labs, the developers of the game. Now let me clarify a few things before there is a major flame war. As a gamer I think the game needs a lot of fine-tuning and technically the game needs at least a year of refinement, but I also feel that FX Labs in on the right track. Let's get into the game's details.
If you have seen the movie, you would know that Sanjay Singhania suffers from short term memory loss and his objective is to find his girlfriend's murderers. The game starts-off in Sanjay's apartment, where you have to interact with the objects in the room and look for a few things before you leave the apartment. Finding objects like the mobile phone, the city map and his case file can be quite a daunting task. Once you have all the required items, you are allowed to exit the room.
Throughout the game you have Aamir Khan's dull voice over directing you towards your next objective and giving you hints. The game developers in their quest to ape Max Payne's style and feel have made it very similar to Max Payne in terms of design and presentation, which isn't a bad decision, however, the execution lacks polish. Once out of his apartment, Sanjay heads to the heavily guarded CBI HQ to retrieve some information. As this is the first level, I was expecting an action-packed intro with guns blazing, but it turns out Sanjay likes the silent approach. Unlike the stereotyped Bollywood hero, we start the level sneaking around cops instead of beating the crap out of them.
pls help me out how do i pass the construction site level. and also tell me how i use weapon...i try to use weapon but it didn't work so pls help me out...pls.....
Well I purchased the game today and have mixed feelings..
On one hand I'm extremely proud that the developers of India Inc have attempted in creating a 3D game which is worth reviewing.
Secondly it saddens me to see that the story telling sequence of the game is greatly inspired by Max Payne - No originality there.
The game unfortunately is not as polished or techinically superior to many games.. and I'm not refering to games made in 2008-09.. I'm talking about games from the 2003-04 era.
The control system is ridged and not as sensitive as it should be or at times is overly sensitive... the edges do not look smooth (I'm talking about the best settings) and the graphics overall look outdated.
A good attempt though and I'm sure that it would feed off from the hype of the movie and Aamir's involvement in the game.
Overall I would rate it 4/10
Sorry people I'm not bashing the game here but just suggesting a few improvements..
Then again extremely proud to be Indian a review a game made by India.
good .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
commentators on techtree are are bad..
sometimes even worse than those on youtube.
on, going back to the topic, i never really expected much out of this, like i didnt from the movie.
what do you expect when they try to ape a Christopher Nolan movie?
Good review, covering what needs to be covered and sparing the boring technicalities, but a bit more towards the movement, control and combat would be nice, instead of finishing it off in one sentence!!
Reviews look entertaining and attractive.Ghajini movies in Tamil and then in hindi by Surya and Aamir Khan respectively have been a hit.Hope this game makes more news.
