We've put it through our usual run of tests and here's how it performed.
The last factory overclocked 9600GT we tested, the Palit 9600GT Sonic, turned out to be a good performer and a value-for-money option. This time, we have with us the BIG/Galaxy GeForce 9600GT Xtreme Tuner Edition. We put it through our usual run of tests and here's how it performed.
Specifications

right big 9600gt 512mb card is very good performing so go for big card

Sudeep, you are using a slow test bed. Test it on a Core2 3Ghz machine and check if the performance is better than the stock 9600GT. The CPU is holding the card back.

The cards don't look to be CPU limited. And it's a little sad when I read an ATI advert in the middle of this review, and you haven't tested an ATI card since... I think... what a few million years? The 3850 and 3870 are freely available in the market. You still refuse to test any ATI solution. This sort of review makes no sense if you're just going to compare a 9600GT to another 9600GT and another 9600GT and then another. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Stop being such soddy nVidia fanboys and review some ATI cards.

yea you are right i get 11 k 3dmarks on core2duo e4300 @ 3.0 ghz with 2 gb ddr2 ram xfx 9600gt the test bed is very low and is bottlenecking the card

Yes, Ikrana is right TT is so much biased towards nVidia cards and Mobos. Apart from the great ATI cards there has also been great new Mobos for the new RS780- chipset (from Gigabyte and ASUS etc). These mobos are drawing the whole PC Gamers' attention! But TT just wants to continue reviewing these same old cards again and again.
