Everyone knows data backup is vital, but only a few do something about it. Here's an automatic data backup solution for the lazy ones, and the others.
Here, you can add the folders that you want to backup, then click next to proceed.
This part of the wizard allows you select the type of backup you want.
Backups can be:
1. Full: Copy the entire directory.
2. Incremental: Copy only those files that have changed since the last backup.
3. Daily: Once done, select the backup destination. It can be:
a) A file or network folder
b) CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD
c) FTP Server
The next screen allows you to schedule your backups. You may choose to have the selected folders backed-up daily or weekly at the specified time. Make sure your computer is turned on though.
Once set, FileFort will stay in the background, and then at the scheduled time that was set, it surfaces and starts the backup process. The time taken for completing backups depends totally on the size of the folder(s), the type and destination for the backups. For example, backing-up to an FTP server will take longer than backing-up DVD.
