Do we at last have a contender for the PES?

Slow realistic gameplay, many modes to choose from, "Be a Pro mode" is refreshing and innovative, great graphics and sound, competent AI

Can be a little too difficult initially, Trick System can be hard to master

EXPERT REVIEW

Ok! before anybody starts flaming me over the fact that I previewed the game first on the 360, and now I'm reviewing the same game on the PS3, let me myself acknowledge in the beginning that it's almost the same game. The reason why I say "almost" is that the game has an FPS cap on the PS3, but it plays just as smooth on both systems.

With every new version, you expect more: better player models, better graphics, better AI, and a whole lot of goodies. How does FIFA 08 fare? Let's check out.

Ya sure.... All U guys who say they r PES fans are actually jealous abt Fifa & the franchise... Fifa has always been good...well not always... but good. How many of you actually play the game at highest levels...?? WC/Leg...???? I agree tht FIFA is crap at levels Pro & below.... !!! BUt i must agree the effort put in '08 it's real fun to play just the demo Kick Off....!!! No doubt tht PES is also good but the fun tht U get playing FIFA is unmatched..??? probably we now have tough competion bet'n PES & FIFA... & the only winner will be....... US....!!!!!

PES has always been way above FIFA standards, only thing is as FIFA is an EA multiplatform francise i enjoys a larger no of players fifa no doubt is improving, but PES was always better than FIFA and no matter how good fifa becomes , PES will NEVER go below FIFA

the pro mode in pc version is nothing what u described it as here i guess i'll have to check out the ps3 version then Screw u EA for descrimination with pc gamers
