The EMP-765 connects to your PC via USB and also WiFi 802.11g, apart from the video that is sourced via S-Video, composite or component (VGA). There are two USB ports at the back - type A and type B. The type A connector is for connecting USB flash drives for a PC-less presentation and the type B one is for connecting a USB mouse. The projector ships with a PCMCIA WLAN card that can be used to wirelessly connect it to your network, which can let you remotely manage the unit without worrying about long extension cables. The projector features a PCMCIA slot on the front side (next to the lens) where the WLAN card can be inserted.

Has anyone reviewed, used, have an opinion on the Panasonic PT-LM1E LCD projector ? How risky wud it be to buy a secondhand piece from the guys who hire it out. The deal seems lucrative at 25 grand even if the bulb needs to be replaced say after 6 months at 12 grand. I wish to use it specifically for projecting images on canvas to trace them out to paint them later manually (not for watching movies!). Any views r appreciated and offers welcome.
