Packed with productive features, the Vostro is Dell's business line of laptop that keeps your data safe from prying eyes. It also just about stops short of actively discouraging you from playing games because of its low gaming power. But that's probably something an employer would be happy about. Read on to see just how this one stacks up.

Bundle

This laptop with 4 GB RAM and vista Ultimate is a good buy. The sound quality is average. Display is excellent. Should have made the looks more peppy. Not a bad buy for the price.

Vostro 1310 is an okey-dokey lappy if one considers its big brother, the Vostro 1710. Actually therz not much diff between 1310 and 1510 other than a 15.4 inch screen on the 1510. both have an option of a Nvidia 8400M GS for 3.5k more but the Nvidia 8400 card is juzz a slime better compared to the in-built graphics. But the 1710 bundles a NVIDIA 8600M GS by default. 8600 IS THE CARD WHICH COMES AS AN OPTION WITH XPS lappys and man....8600 is 3 to 4 times better than 8400. And Vostro 1710 comes for around 46k. But the only let off for many guys is that 1710 packs a 17 inch screen and a full keyboard and hence its bigger than both 1510 and 1310 and may rove to be a nuisance to carry everywhere very often but as a replacement for a desktop and for infrequent carrying, 1710 ROCKS!!

The very learned man who wrote this review didn't find the need to give basic info like the processor, RAM and HD capacity... I think techtree needs to review the quality of its reviewers before reviewing the products

He also doesn't bother to mention whether the OS is pre-installed or I need to shell out extra bucks for it
