Hey guys, last time we listed 8 Counter Strike maps in the first Map Pack for counter Strike, here is part two of our series. These are all fan-based maps that are listed, said a very popular CS fansite. So we took the trouble of playing through all the maps and listing 8 of our favourite. Read the preview and select the map that best suits your needs. As always, here is some vital info about CS maps:

There are different kinds of maps in CS, categorised as below

DE_map: Maps that are used in all the major tournaments, revolving around the concept of the terrorist wanting to bomb one of two available sites called A and B. The counter-terrorists have to defend the bombsites.

CS_map: Very popular in gaming cafes, these maps revolve around rescuing hostages from the terrorist. There are various small versions of these maps that are used to play small 3v3 games.

Aim_map: These are mostly user-generated maps that don't have a fixed objective. You don't need money to buy weapons, as they are available on the ground.

Fy_map: Fight yard maps, again, are mostly user-generated. The maps are made for fun, with trap doors and shotguns to play with.

Do keep in mind that these are not official maps and are meant for fun. So if you see a map that has a Taj Mahal in the center and the Arc de Triomphe as your spawn point, don't be surprised. Read all the previews and choose the ones that seem most sane.

It is not about how OLD the game is...it is all about the L.O.V.E. I have played many FPS including the recent CRYSIS and COD. But it is CS anyday for me!

Agree with LoveCs MaxAxe is a LOSER. I play crysis,UT3 and many more high graphics games but still practise CS 1.6 5 hrs/day for WCG 2008. CS 1.6 > COD4,CRYSIS,UT3................ CS 1.6 ftw !! :P
