A good single-player campaign, blowing up everything is amazing, an amusing twist to the war genre, great graphics and sound, online Gold Rush is addictive.
No co-op play, and no death penalty makes game too easy.
Battlefield 1942 was a great game, a game that raised the bar for WWII shooters, especially in the multi-player campaign. The single-player campaign was nothing special, but the multi-player really stood apart and gave you freedom that was unheard of in those days. For those who are new to the series, the game is a true classic that came out in 2002. I remember playing the demo first and later getting hooked on to the online version. The Battlefield series is more of a PC gamer's game. The consoles have had their versions of Battlefield, but they don t work as well as the original. The new game in the franchise is console-only, at least for now, so expect to see many console touches like an easy healing system and quick re-spawns. Let's look into the game in greater detail.

The sad thing about this game is that they have focued on single player mostly and almost ignored the multiplayer mode. Battlefield series is mainly multiplayer only...
