    Asus UX 30 Laptop [Review]

Asus's iteration of slim and light

Thin and elegant design, Good build quality, large multi-touch trackpad, 500GB hard disk, HDMI and 3 USB ports

Expensive, No optical drive, slightly under-powered processor, only 3-cell battery

Here goes the drill. Apple comes out with an innovative, never-before-seen concept product. Then, the rest of the world wants to cash in on the leftovers. Pertaining to this review, we're speaking particularly of the Macbook Air. After Apple's thinnest notebook was released, there have been many attempts to emulate it. The UX30 is Asus's interpretation of thin-and-light notebooks. Let's see how successful they were.

The bundle includes a wired USB mouse, a conveniently sized power supply (similar to the ones supplied with the Eee PCs) and a few software CDs. It is unfortunate that they did not bundle an optical drive with it, considering it is being positioned and priced as a premium segment.

Why would you review a old product when they are at a verge of releasing a new better product. I advice people to look for Asus Ul30vt notebook. This has been launched in US at 799$ with specs which no others match at the price point. Also very good battery life
