Design and Features
Sharing the same design and chipset specifications as Nvidia's reference 9800GX2, the Asus EN9800GX2 is a monster of a card that stretches even beyond the boundaries of the motherboard.
Built on Nvidia's reference design, the Asus EN9800 GX2 is a dual slot card with 2 dual-link DVI-D connectors, an HDMI port, and an SPDIF port at the back.
The EN9800 GX2's twin cores run at 600 MHz each, while the 256 shaders and the 1 Gig of DDR3 memory run at 1500 MHz and 2000 MHz (effective), respectively.
The EN9800 GX2 comes with both the 6-pin and 8-pin PCI-E power connectors, and you need to supply power to both for the GX2 to run. There are some issues with regard to finding PSUs that have this kind of configuration, so make sure you check the connectors on your PSU before getting yourself a 9800GX2. And in case you don't have an 8-pin connector with your PSU, Asus does bundle a PCI-E 6-pin to 8-pin power cable adapter.
The card also has LEDs that indicate the power status. They light up green if both the power connectors are plugged in properly; else, they emit red light. Next to the power connectors is a covered SPDIF audio header, which will be needed if you use the HDMI connection.
The card supports PCI-Express 2.0, Shader Model 4.0, Nvidia's Quantum technology for physics computation using Shaders, the Lumenex Engine that helps deliver better image quality and floating point accuracy at high speed, PureVideo HD technology, dual-link DVI (capable of supporting resolutions up to 2560 x 1600), and OpenGL 2.0.

This is unfair. In INDIA we have to buy graphics cards at almost twice the actual value.

Why can't you order online from newegg, or some other online realtor from the U.S., & then just pay for over seas shipping?

newegg doesn't ship internationally and even if we find some site/ebay.. the custom tax kick in which is set at 105% if im correct :/.I love my country soo much :/

They way u are comparing differnt chipset and and combination is good but it should be without brand name becasue it may miss lead to cunsumer

The govt. claims that import duties on cars and technology products are high to safeguard our home industries. The real question is, to what effect? Maruti is now ownde by Japan, and no Tata car has matched even an equivalent-priced import (or partially imported) car. And there are practically no tech industries to safeguard since, *gasp* they are all owned by foreigners anyway!
