Acer M900: Windows Mobile based Smartphone

Acer M900 [Review]

Frazier Barretto, Nov 11, 2009 1415 hrs IST

You can give this one a miss

Fingerprint scan security, jog-dial navigation, Wi-Fi, battery, 5MP autofocus, camera

Tacky and plastic feel, poor earpiece (low volume), no GPS software, large and bulky, jerky interface

The Acer M900 is a Windows Mobile based smartphone that sports top of the line security for the business user. With the power of Windows Mobile you can have access to data like Contacts, Files etc. The M900 has a slide out QWERTY keypad, GPS, Wi-Fi, and built-in accelerometer to enhance its capabilities. It also has a 5 Megapixel autofocus camera. In the past the phones that we've seen from Acer haven't really impressed us much. But maybe the M900 can turn things around and make a good impression.

Frazier,do u get paid by nokia n samsung people 2 write against other brands' products specially SE n other makers.Did u even bother 2 check out the current market price of this phone?A mundane device like samsung corby n other phones from samsung specially gets superb ratings n reviews, but phones with far bttr features get downrated by techtree.i suggest techtree gets the reviews done by unbiased n technically sound experts.this phone reviewed above has virtually all the features expected in a smart phone n is available 4 arnd 28k in delhi now.n yet u recommend ur readers 2 give it a miss?ur review sounded whimsical........

you guys are joke, when acer has unveiled three 3 phones only two days before , and there are considerable price revisions to all handsets, and and by those standards it is old news and ur reviewing this set now with old price and those ld specs. for eg try to review the htc touch2 or acer neo touch etc within a week, from now on then ur ok .
