No IEEE 1394 port, keypad a bit cramped, a little on the heavy side, no carry bag
Layout and Design
The Gemstone design seen across the Aspire range of laptops looks good, and the laptop has an aura of "executiveness" around it. The layout of the laptop is pretty neat, especially with the ports placed on either side, making accessibility easy. The IEEE 1394 port, which is now seen on every laptop, is missing, though. The front of laptop houses the audio ports and volume control. The ports are placed in the centre for comfort.

TT its time for a summer laptop buyers guide. With ultra portables,portables,performance,gaming,and desktop replacements lined up.there is a lot to choose from and a comprehensive TT style guide would be great help.
