Big is beautiful, especially when it comes to monitors. Here's another big-wig, sitting pretty to impress you. It's been through our grill-session, and here's what we have to say.
22-inch screen, 5ms response time, Good build, Good color reproduction, Video presets.
No DVI-D port, Mismatch in the HCR test, Contrast could have been better.
Men and women are absolute opposites. Don't take me as an MCP, but try and see where I am coming from. For quite some time now, gadgets that are also aimed at the female segment have become smaller and smaller, while those considered specifically for men have mutated to being bigger and bulkier.
Whoever said 'size doesn't matter' wasn't really looking at the right things for sure.
Teach a man to fish, and he'll never go hungry. Give him a big-ass monitor, and you'll never need to cook again.
i having a problem in al1516 monitor .so please solve my poroblem and the problem is agreen line is showing from top to bottom.

ViewSonic 22" lcd with DVI is aviable at less than 20k . which is better perfomance than ACER ,

My parents had returned from US and bought it via them-- Bought major components but the cheaper ones were acer 22" LCD ( 250$=Rs 12000), Pioneer DVD Writer(32$=1440) and Yamaha 50W RMS subwoofer (80$=3600) @ 1$=Rs 45. Customs allows certain amount of items without duty--so no duty. This buy was in feb--prices have fallen even further. Got it online from www.newegg.com-- reliable and best online shop. Also see deals2buy.com for daily deals.

Acer AL2216W comes with DVI out here in the US and yes the LCD market needs to crash by more than 50% to get things done and the inconvinient truth is it will save more energy

The DELL E228 is a fantastic 22" monitor priced at 19000 on the DELL site. Get that any day above Acer or even Viewsonic. Q for Reviewer: Hey Sudeep, does this only have the VESA mounting holes or does it come with the requisite hardware?

LCD prices have come down a teeny weenie little bit- but all the computer component companies are ganging up to rape Indian public, by artificially keeping LCD prices high in this country. This monitor is. available in US market for US $ 234 shipped anywhere in that vast country-that is eq. of Rs. 9360. Whereas in India we are required to pay whopping Rs. 20000. Worse is all the manufacturers Acer, Viewsonic, Samsung etc. collude to keep price artificially high for us Indians!! Higher customs duty excuse is too lame for high prices in India- customs on computer components is not so high- it is the avarice for super normal profits from Indian market ?that is responsible for this daylight thuggery.

Sadly more than twice as expensive as compared to the US. When will the LCD market drop just like the CD Burner market did in 2002 and DVD in 2004.

Start of rosy days ahead it seems. 22' monitor has come down below 20k price now. Alas, this one doesn't support 1080p resolution. For HD video apps it is must.
