ATI sends their legion's to invade the mainstream market where Nvidia has set their camp.
Twice the performance of the 9500GT, Value for money, Slim profile, future proof connectors.
Other than the heat issue there's nothing much.
ATI's mainstream cards are finally here and are set to take some more market share away from Nvidia. The 48xx series already caused quite a stir and while the mainstream segment had no competition, Nvidia was happily enjoying the limelight.
We all knew that sooner or later ATI were going to launch a mainstream card and here we have it. The two cards - HD4670 and HD4650 are derivatives of the RV770 core that powers the 48xx series. These are targeted squarely at the budget conscious gamer in mind and also those looking to build a good HTPC machine.
These ATI offerings go head on with Nvidia's 9500GT and aim to take away the focus from the 'green' team. The card that we have is the HD4670 and this unassuming card looks like any typical midrange card, but dont let these looks fool you. ATI has packed in a whole lot of firepower and we'll just examine that next.
Can anybody tell me where can i buy this in mumbai ?
