We covered the Asus Eee PC a few days ago. A similar-sized product from ACi has now made its way to our test lab. But this one's not an Eee PC competitor; it lies on the high-end side of the "Ultra Mini" series of sub-notebooks from ACi, and it's also got a few unique features. But will the drawbacks make you think too long and too hard about buying it?

For a change, this sub-notebook comes with an ample storage space of 120 GB

Along with the ACi Ultra Mini Tablet PC, the bundle includes a battery adapter, a deluxe carry case, and a pouch.

Pls review HCL MiLeap X and Y Series, which i think is more better then ACI Ultra Mini, and i think X series is available under Rs.15K

ACi looks like a company on verge of folding, with hardly any market share- it would be quite dicey to buy a laptop from them.

This ACI UMPC has a fatal flaw, small screen !!- too much real estate is lost on sides of display -it needs a 9 inch screen a ka the Eee PC 900. Also the HDD though 120 GB will be a real slow down factor. I, like lots of other ppl will wait for the $ 499 Eee 900 PC on a new Intel Atom processor-fast 12 GB SSD drive, running fast win xp.

You have hit nail on head mr vijayshimla. when tested factually-this UMPC will come out virtually worthless- slow processor plus slow hard disc. ACI needs a good product adviser like you- to identify what will sell and what will not- this one is a dud.
