inMotion for iPods Available Soon

Altec Lansing's inMotion portable speaker systems for iPods will be available in India by December.
US-based Altec Lansing, which designs, manufactures and markets computer and home entertainment sound systems, has introduced the inMotion portable speaker system for iPods in India.
Mumbai-based distributor Zeta Technologies will be introducing the speakers in India in 15-30 days.
The products, which come in three models, will be available through retailers in the next 30 days. Indian prices were not disclosed, awaiting stock shipment (The MRP for the US market was $129.99).
inMotion has features like compact design, low battery power consumption (lasts for up to 24 hours of continuous playback), built-in iPod dock between the two speakers that allow data synchronization and transfer option as iPod dock, and MaxxBass technology. MaxxBass is a technique used in commercial audio systems for restaurants and clubs. It generates a specific set of harmonics in response to bass input, which the brain then interprets as the intended bass sound.
The speaker system also features four full-range, custom-designed neodymium micro drivers for clear audio output. Tejas Sheth, General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Zeta Technologies, which is the distributor for Altec Lansing in India, said, "No bigger than a paperback book, inMotion turns the iPod into a platform for convenient, headphone-free listening anytime, anywhere.
An auxiliary input jack will connect to other audio devices such as laptops, older iPods, and other MP3 players (3.5mm stereo cable included).
