The first Genesis University in India aims to accelerate business growth in India with a wide range of contact center technology and customer services best practices.

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc., an Alcatel-Lucent company and iSmart Panache Inc. have joined forces to launch the first Genesys University in India. The new Genesys University, hosted by iSmart Panache in Gurgaon, is aimed at accelerating business growth in India by educating customers on a wide range of contact center technology and customer services best practices - with a special focus on Genesys' solutions, including the Dynamic Contact Center.

The newly opened Genesys University can host up to 12 students per class in ergonomically-designed workstations. The facility boasts superior technology like motion sensors and a bio-metric access control system - all backed by a state-of-the-art data center that provides a comprehensive IT infrastructure with wireless LAN connectivity, providing for easy access to knowledge from anywhere in the world.

Product simulation will also be done with the help of a fully functional demo lab, enabling Genesys University students and professionals to see and learn first-hand how the latest contact center and customer service technology solutions work. A mobile classroom is also available for those dedicated classes at client sites.

Genesys University in India will offer more than 55 courses, which can be customized as per specific user groups and required technical skills. Certification testing will be available to students who complete courses.
