With support for corporate email, iPhone users will be able to connect it out-of-the-box to Microsoft Exchange Servers 2003 and 2007.
Apple's iPhone will soon start supporting corporate email with Microsoft Exchange; in doing so, competing with smart phone majors, Research in Motion (RIM) and Nokia.
With support for corporate email, iPhone users will be able to connect it out-of-the-box to Microsoft Exchange Servers 2003 and 2007 for secure push email, contacts, calendars, and global address lists.
The built-in Exchange ActiveSync support will enable security features such as remote wipe, password policies, and auto-discovery. Users will also be able to use Exchange as an email option on their iPhones. Apple will build software for easy configuration of the iPhone to the Exchange server.
