eBay India Sells One Product Per Minute

Indians are shopping online in full swing. eBay India is selling one product per minute in the country, reports Economic Times.
Interestingly, the products catching the attention of most online buyers are not PC peripherals or other multimedia products, but jewellery! To everyone's surprise jewellery turned out to be the most sought-after product online, with one piece of jewellery being sold every seven minutes on eBay India.
The other popular categories on eBay India are coins or currency notes, mobile handsets, stamps, books, music players and watches. According to eBay India, on an average day a piece of jewellery is sold every seven minutes, a coin or note sells every 16 minutes, a stamp sells every 19 minutes, an apparel sells every 22 minutes and a book is sold every 27 minutes.
However, when we look at the profile of shoppers on eBay, 70-75 percent belongs to men between age group of 25-30 years. Read more.
