The first wave of Xbox 360 Platinum Hits is finally out in the Indian market with a promise to offer great value to Gen-Next gaming enthusiasts.

The first wave of Xbox 360 Platinum Hits is finally out in the Indian market with a promise to offer great value to next generation gaming enthusiasts in the country.

Microsoft has launched the Platinum Hits games lineup for Xbox 360, which essentially includes archetypal games that have sold about a million copies world-wide in a particular category, within a year of launch.

Sharing the idea of the Platinum Hits lineup, Mohit Anand, Country Manager of the Entertainment and Devices Division, Microsoft India, said, "The Platinum Hits program allows existing gamers and new gamers alike to have access to great games at a great price. Not only does the Platinum Hits program offer games at a great value, it also ensures that the platform's best games are available to customers at an amazing price."

The first wave of Platinum Hits includes Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Elements of Power, and Ninety-Nine Nights. The first two games in the lineup are from Rare game developers.

Perfect Dark Zero is a prequel to the internationally award-winning "Perfect Dark" developed by Rare. It merges the excitement and intrigue of its predecessor with revolutionary game design, cutting-edge online play, and amazing graphics to deliver an experience that defines next-generation gaming and entertainment. It features a compelling and captivating story, and thrusts the player into a world of corporate espionage and conspiracy.

Kameo: Elements of Power is supposed to be a larger-than-life journey, full of intense combat, magnificent exploration, and innovative morph-into-monster action. The game features a wondrous and immense world with brilliant puzzles and challenges, and also innovative and unique creature-oriented combat and exploration.

Ninety-Nine Nights, or N3 is a fantasy/strategy role-playing video game featuring hundreds of enemies onscreen at any given time. It is developed in collaboration between Tetsuya Mizuguchi (Q Entertainment) and Phantagram. It combines large-scale combat and exhilarating action, all rendered in dramatic high definition to create the penultimate entertainment experience.

The first wave of Platinum Hits Lineup for Xbox 360 is available in retail outlets across the country at a price of just Rs 1,499, as against the original price of Rs 2,510.

XBOX's earning model is highly based on the titles, not on the console (Its a fact that each XBOX console is sold at 100$ loss to MS) And its the biggest challenge for MS. How'll sell titles to indian ppl. Indians are not used to pay 1k bucks 4 a DVD which is avail in palika (delhi) for 50-100 bucks only!!

hey dude thats something to think about if it were 500 bucks then we would have thought of buying og games but it pinched when a game comes for 2500 rs and to top it of if the game we buy is not that good or is not a great game we can consider buying halo at 2500 but the rest of the games dont guarentee a great gameplay experience
