XFX GeForce 8800 GS in India

The graphics card is powered by a 580MHz core clock, a 1.4GHz memory clock, and 96 stream processors -- enough to lend bite to any gaming experience, claims XFX.
XFX has launched its GeForce 8800 GS graphics card exclusively in India, which the company claims looks harmless but is fierce enough to be leader of its alpha dog pack.
According to XFX, the 384MB graphics card has a 'killer instinct' despite its small memory, and will enable gamers reach the heights of gaming just like any standard GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB graphics card would.
Also, the XFX GeForce 8800 GS is remarkably friendly for an alpha dog; compatible with new PCI-E 2.0 bus architecture that could make for a fair fight in any bandwidth-demanding gaming environment.
The graphics card is powered by a 580MHz core clock, a 1.4GHz memory clock, and 96 stream processors -- enough to lend bite to any gaming experience, claims XFX.
To add even more zing, there's an overclocked XXX version available with 680MHz core clock and 1.6 GHz memory clock.
For movie enthusiasts, the XFX GeForce 8800 GS graphics card features Nvidia PureVideo HD engine, bringing amazing Blu-ray and HD DVD movie picture quality to a user's PC, with 100 percent offload of H.264 video decoding from the CPU, along with considerably reduced power consumption.
And like other XFX graphics cards, XFX 8800 GS is HDCP-capable, with 16x full-screen anti-aliasing that eliminates jagged edges, full Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 support, true 128-bit floating point high dynamic range (HDR) lighting, Nvidia Quantum Effects Physics processing technology, and OpenGL 2.0 support.
The SLI-ready graphics card is built for Microsoft Windows Vista, and has two dual-link DVI outputs that support two 2,560 x 1,600 resolution displays. It features Nvidia unified architecture with GigaThread technology for extreme processing efficiency.

Rs. 10,000 Should be a reasonable Price point for this card. But it will probably be higher when it first comes out.
