Consim Info, formerly known as BharatMatrimony Group, announced the launch of, what it claims is, the world's first matrimony channel on the Internet -- BharatMatrimony.tv.

The website features videos that are aimed at creating an "engaging, informative and compelling" experience for audiences across the globe.

The channel will also be producing capsules covering news, events and developments in the world of marriages. Video clips featuring weddings of topnotch celebrities, fashion, style and bridal wear are also available, Consim Info said.

The video polls, launched for the first time in India, capture the opinions of the youth across the country on matrimony-related topics. The company plans to add video clips in multiple categories to the site on a regular basis.
