Recently there was news that Windows 7 Release Candidate for public was expected on April 10, 2009. However, Microsoft has updated their schedule and now the release of the first public release candidate is expected in the last week of May.
The Russian site wzor.net that
leaked screenshots of Office 14 beta has now come out with a Windows 7 and Office 14 release schedule.
The build 7057 that was
leaked on torrent sites was one of the pre-RC builds. According to wzor.net the latest Windows 7 build 7061 was compiled on March 11, 2009.

As for Office 14, the first beta will be released to select testers in early July, while the second beta will follow in early November. The final Release-To-Manufacture release of Office 14 is anticipated in early March 2010.
Information about Microsoft's schedule still sounds pretty ambiguous to us and so we prefer waiting for an official word from Microsoft. However, along with the list of about 36 changes expected in the Windows 7 release candidate, Microsoft has come out with another list of
25 more changes in the Windows 7 release candidate.
Will this RC be released to the public just like the Beta 1?
