Which means it will be better than most smart phones on the market, including the smartest of them all -- the iPhone.
We've managed to sneak a peek into the leaked specifications (not final) of RIM's BlackBerry 9000, billed as the next iPhone killer.
So here goes:
The phone will likely have a 480 x 320 touch-screen, an Intel XScale PXA270 processor at 624MHz (incidentally, the iPhone processor is slightly slower at 620MHz), 1GB on-board memory, support for GPS and WiFi as well as 3G, and a 2 mega pixels or maybe 3.2 mega pixels camera.

Wait for some time and the new benchmark standard for smartphones will be ANDROID in line (or may be ahead) with symbian and Windows mobile. As far as my opinion is concerned Iphone and blackberry are not even in the race to build best smartphone. Whats use of smartphone which doesnt give user the freedom of 3rd party applications.....? Applications developed by single company will always be less competitive and out smarted by products from other companies all over the world. I agree blackberry has rock solid reliability and used at corporate level. But push mail service, VOIP, high resolution camera and GPS along with different communication standards will be common features in the future. Deciding factor will be integration of features and 'OS'. And again capcha of techtree sucks bigtime.......it takes sevaral attempts to get correct text from it.( And i dont need glasses)

I totally agree, Steve Jobs has again managed to fool the whole world. By the way nokia is working on a touch screen phone for symbian platform and its flagship n95 is already a hell of a phone. So watch out for that too.
