In these times when everyone wants to croon into a mike in front of some audience, Sony has launched the SingStar Room in the country.
Clear your throat, take a deep breath, and get ready to rock the world with the strength of your vocal chords!
Bathroom singers, wannabe Indian Idols, et al, can exercise their talent with SingStar Room; the very first SingStar Room has been launched in India by Sony Computer Entertainment. It has been launched at Trafalgar Chowk (notice the curious confluence of the anglical Trafalgar and the very desi chowk), a restaurant in Mumbai's Queen of Suburbs, Bandra. Yet another Karaoke installment in the SingStar series, the release follows the previous Indian edition -- SingStar Bollywood.
With SingStar Room, Sony aims to spice up the concept of Karaoke in restaurants across India. SingStar Room will create instant singing contests and is ideal for a party ambience. It includes original soundtracks and videos of popular artists. As in SingStar Bollywood, players need to pick up a tune and simply sing to it in Karoake. With SingStar Room, even the audience can be apart, making it feel like more of a concerto!
In addition, Sony has introduced the complete international range of SingStar in India comprising SingStar 80's (Rs 499), SingStar 90's (Rs 499), SingStar Party (Rs 499), SingStar Legends and SingStar Rock (Rs 499 each), SingStar Pop (Rs 499), and SingStar (Rs 499) along with the previous Indian version SingStar Bollywood bundle (Rs 1,499 including the PS2 system).
