After announcing the TouchSmart IQ504 and IQ506 all-in-one PCs, HP has updated their TouchSmart product with a seemingly killer entry: The TouchSmart IQ816 Desktop PC features a 25.5-inch LCD, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M graphics card, a Blu-ray drive as well as VESA wall-mount capability. Also packed in this all-in-one PC is a portable hard drive from HP Pocket Media Drive line up and a multi-color illumination for the benefit of the keyboard sitting below the PC. HP also announced the TouchSmart IQ804, which has similar components but drops the Blu-ray drive and the NVIDIA GeForce graphics card.
HP claims that the TouchSmart IQ800 series offers a 45% energy savings with HP power management technology. The IQ816 pricing starts at $2100 and IQ804 pricing at $1900. Both should be expected in India after their US release.
