An HD-monitor with a built-in DVD player
The incredible shrinking computer have brought us the all-in-one PC solution -- that PC-in-a-monitor form factor made famous by the Apple iMac. And now we have this Viewsonic: a 22-inch LCD TV, the N2201w, which bundles an HDTV/DVD-player combo.
At less than $500, the N2201w is an ideal choice for thrifty shoppers as the holiday season approaches. It features PC capabilities and a built-in DVD player, which is placed on the side of the TV for a convenient, streamlined appearance and multi-functionality.
The N2201w, the company claims, delivers 1080i high-definition digital video with a resolution of 1680x1050, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and wide viewing angles. It also has multiple inputs, including ATSC/NTSC/QAM digital TV tuner and HDMI, for connecting to high-definition video and gaming consoles, camcorders, cable or satellite boxes, and digital media players. A PC input is also provided for connecting computer sources.
Eager to buy this small screen dual-purpose LCD TV worth $429? Well, no word yet on when it's coming to India yet, but we will keep you updated on the same.
