Umax Launches 3 New Mice

UMAX, better known for its DRAM and NAND flash memory products, launched its "Powerklik mouse series" in the Indian market

Taiwan-based UMAX, better known for its DRAM and NAND flash memory products, has launched its Powerklik mouse series in the Indian market.

The new series includes 3 mice - Powerklik 108 Laser Mouse, Powerklik 103, and 1059 optical mouse.

The Powerklik 108 is an ambidextrous laser mouse with blue LED, it comes with laser surface technology that registers more surface details enabling users to use it on surfaces like glass and mirror.

Sporting an ergonomic design, the mouse comes with a tracking resolution of 1600 dpi to give the precision, and is compatible with both Mac and Windows. Offering USB as well as PS2 connectivity, the mouse is available for a price of Rs.550 along with 2 years warranty.

The other 2 are optical mice -- Powerklik 103 and 1059. The Powerklik 103 also is an ambidextrous mouse with blue LED and comes with 3 changeable faceplates to suite the mood of the user. It has a tracking resolution of 800 dpi and is Vista ready. It's priced at Rs. 300 along with 1-year warranty.

The Powerklik 1059 is an optical mouse with a mirror finish. It has a tracking resolution of 1000 dpi and works on most of the solid surfaces including wood, plastic, and paint. This Vista ready mouse is priced at Rs. 250 and comes with a 1-year warranty.

This new range of UMAX Powerklik mice will be available through Neoteric in the country.
