"Internet Security Pro" is a new product meant for advanced users who regularly use the PC for Web transactions.
Trend Micro today unveiled its 2008 suite of consumer security products, comprising Internet Security Pro, Internet Security 2008, and Antivirus Plus AntiSpyware 2008.
"Internet Security Pro" is a comparatively new product meant for advanced users who regularly use the PC for Web transactions, and require advanced solutions for identity protection.
"Internet Security 2008" is an update to an existing product, and has been designed keeping in mind the on-the-go Web surfer.
"AntiVirus Plus AntiSpyware 2008", which is also an update, provides essential and value-priced protection for consumer PCs.
The newbie security products are optimized for performance and convenience, according to Trend Micro. Memory consumption is decreased by approximately 50 percent over last year's products, and manual scanning is more than 30 percent faster than competing products.
Trend Micro claims the products have enhanced anti-malware protection in the form of proactive intrusion blocking, Web threat protection, enhanced anti-spam capabilities, a two-way firewall, and fully integrated antivirus and antispyware engines.

The subscription prices of one year new retail packaging of "Internet Security Pro", "Internet Security 2008", and "AntiVirus Plus AntiSpyware 2008" are Rs 2,900, Rs 2,250, and Rs 1,000 respectively.
Select Technologies, a division of WeP Peripherals, is the distributor for Trend Micro while ACPL Systems, Rakshatech, and DCH Solutions are all resellers for the company.

Many people get the following error from Trend Micro Internet Security 2008. Multiple tries to contact support have failed: An error prevented your security from connecting with the internet. make sure your internet works before trying again.
