Transcend Launches 32 GB CF Card

Transcend has announced the availability in India of its 32 GB 133x CompactFlash (CF) card. It features fast read and write speeds, which make consecutive shooting and non-stop video recording easier. The card is targeted at users who demand performance and cannot compromise on reliability, such as professional photographers and reporters.

According to Transcend, the card operates in both dual-channel mode and Ultra DMA Mode 4. Read and write speeds of up to 45MBps / 16MBps on average respectively makes it suitable for use with high-performance DSLRs. Also featured is inbuilt ECC (Error Correction Code), meaning greater reliability.

The just-launched 133x 32 GB version is priced at Rs 10,500, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Transcend's high-speed 133x CF cards are also available in capacities of 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB.
