Toshiba Launches 57-inch LCD TV

Toshiba is also launching a slew of ten models from four different series: the REGZA Z3500 series, REGZA X3500 series, REGZA C3500 series and REGZA A3500 series

Toshiba has announced the launch of its REGZA Z3500 57-inch LCD TV, touted to be their largest LCD TV available in the country.

In addition, Toshiba is also launching a slew of ten models from four different series: the REGZA Z3500 series, REGZA X3500 series, REGZA C3500 series and REGZA A3500 series.

According to Yuzo Kato, Managing Director of Toshiba India, "The LCD TV product segment has tremendous potential as the market is growing at about 200 percent year-on-year. This demand has triggered us to offer a varied range of advanced technology products for the Indian consumers."

The new TV series are full HD panel with 1920x1080 pixel resolution LCD sets equipped with Meta Brain Pro 100 engine and offer 100 Hz technology for clearer, less motion blur images, with 10-bit wide color gamut panel for enhanced colors, Toshiba claims.

Meta Brain is Toshiba's new TV technology with an intelligent picture enhancement feature. It combines 5 crore picture enhancement technologies resulting in real, clean, clear, smooth and original visual experience.

The dynamic contrast ratio in these latest products is 6700:1 and the panel contrast ratio is 2000:1, with brightness of 500cd/m square.

On the connection front, the Z3500 series have three HDMI 1.3 inputs which support 1080p 60Hz/50Hz/24Hz with xvYCC/ Deep Color, and one VGA PC Input.

Toshiba REGZA 57-inch LCD TV comes with a piano black cabinet, has super slim speaker system and is priced at Rs 5,10,000, while the price of new REGZA series of products starts from Rs 52,000 onwards.
