Toshiba Expands Satellite Pro Laptop Series

Toshiba has added five new models to its Satellite Pro series including Satellite Pro L300 and L300D, M300, U400, and L350, all offering business essentials for mobile professionals and students.
The new Satellite Pro models are available with 13.3-inches, 14.1-inches, 15.4-inches, and 17-inches displays, and come equipped with latest processor technologies such as Intel Centrino processor technology featuring Core 2 Duo processors or AMD Dual Core processors.
Users can choose from nine different configurations with either Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Home Basic. Some models also feature an integrated 1.3 mega pixels Web cam with microphone for video conferencing.
The Satellite Pro L300 and L300D models sport a 15.4-inches diagonal wide-screen, with prices starting at $699. The configuration for L300 includes Intel Centrino processor technology featuring Core 2 Duo processors, while the L300D configuration includes AMD Dual Core processors. Both the L300 and L300D feature integrated 802.11 a/b/g wireless and built-in Web cam with microphone.
The Satellite Pro M300 model features a portable design packing a 14.1-inches TruBrite display, while the Satellite Pro U400 model sports a 13.3-inches diagonal wide-screen TruBrite display. The U400 also features fingerprint reader and 3D accelerometer hard drive protection system as also Bluetooth connectivity.
Meanwhile, the M300 is similar to the U400 in featuring a 1.3 mega pixels Web cam with built-in microphone and Intel 802.11 a/b/g wireless. The M300 model comes for a starting price of $999 while the U400 is priced at $1,049.
The Satellite Pro L350 is priced at $1,099, and features a 17-inches diagonal wide-screen with XGA+ TruBrite display and a full-size keyboard with a 10-key numeric pad. The L350 integrates 802.11 a/g/n wireless, a 160GB hard drive, and built-in Web cam with microphone.
All five newbies include a DVD SuperMulti drive, TruBrite wide-screen display, and various connectivity options including wireless LAN, Ethernet, modem, and ExpressCard slot.
