FXLabs estimates that its partnership with Indyarocks will create a gaming platform featuring more than 5,000 online casual games.

Indian gaming company FXLabs Studios on Wednesday announced partnering Indyarocks, an online mobile social networking portal, to create what it claims is India's largest casual gaming community.

FXLabs estimates that this partnership will create a gaming platform featuring more than 5,000 online casual games. Additionally, the platform will allow independent game developers to upload games and get feedback from more than a million active gamers on Indyarocks.

Indyarocks is claimed to be a growing social networking Web site with already around one million members. An FXLabs spokesperson said the company wants to leverage the many active users of Indyarocks so that they can enjoy the best online games available from across the globe as well as locally (games based on Bollywood and Cricket). In future, the company plans to introduce multi-player games as well as conduct online game tournaments.

According to FXLabs, the casual gaming market is expected to double in size every year -- for the next few years. Worldwide, casual games are the fastest growing segment within the gaming industry.
