The iPhone Calls

Techtree News Staff, Jul 05, 2008 0751 hrs IST

A crowd is already milling around the New York Apple Store, waiting in line for the iPhone. A week in advance

Kerry Woo of Gear Diary reports on a sort of insanity, the geek kind: people have already started lining up for the iPhone 3G at the New York Apple Store; the phone is not due for another seven days! At least one person (an apparent couple with a baby) stated that "their goal is to set a record for time in line and possibly the first baby to wait with them." More power to you, we say, especially if they plan rush home and make the rest of us a sweet unboxing video, hot off the Apple Store. Mmmm, 3G goodness. Meanwhile, us folks in India only have a nebulous sometime in September to mark our iPhone 3G launch date with.
