Epson has launched its mid-range, flatbed scanner, the Perfection V350 Photo scanner that features built-in Automatic Film Loader (AFL), which helps users easily digitize their personal 35mm negative filmstrip collection.
The AFL is present on the scanner's lid, and can be accessed by depressing the spring-mounted mechanism. Upon opening, users can slide-in entire 35mm filmstrips of up to six frames at one time.
With a high quality optical resolution of 4800dpi, a rich 48-bit color depth, and Epson's Easy Photo Fix software that features Digital Dust Correction, Color Restoration, and new Backlight Correction; old films and photos are able to be near-completely restored to their past glory.
The V350 Photo's hinge design allows opening of the scanner s lid up to 180 degrees, accommodating even books and magazines. The front panel of the scanner sports four conveniently located direct access buttons for quick access to common functions such as start, copy, scan to PDF, and scan to email. Besides, the smart energy saving mode of the scanner gets automatically activated after every 15 minutes of inactivity. In any case, reactivation requires either a tap on any of the four direct access buttons or the launch of Epson Scan software.
Touted as a highly versatile scanner, the Perfection V350 Photo is available across the country for approximately Rs 12,999.
