Team Fortress 2 Scout Revamp Next Week

Team Fortress 2 Scout class update due on 24th February

Valve has announced that they will update their Team Fortress 2's Scout class by next week. This Scout update will be applicable initially to Team Fortress 2's PC version, followed by the XBOX 360 version. There is no news about an update for PS3.

Currently, The Sandman is the only Scout weapon available as a baseball that helps to launch an attack. With The Sandman, a player can stun the toughest enemy, but the Scouts can't double jump with baseball bats in their hands, a bit difficult in real life too.

The new update will bring in two additional weapons. Valve is planning to revamp each class - Heavy, Pyro, and Medic, eventually.

I sure hope somebody doesn't actually get paid for putting out this unresearched crap. It's too bad that this article is one of the top results on Google's search for "scout update", because this is pretty much all misinformation.

If you're gonna write a news article, MAYBE you should actually PLAY Team Fortress 2!!! (ffs) The update will have 3 new items. All the updates do. Heavy, Pyro and Medic (to correct the comments) are at level 5 & 10 in the updates; they are the first to receive new weapons, yet they are not done with them, as their is still obvious room in the character equipment for more weapons. It is clear, sticking with their notion of "balance," that TF2 plans to update every class this way, then update each class again to presumably levels beyond. This is ALL visible in the game menu. Get yer facts straight, no0bS. Its sad that THIS pops up on top for google, yet there are a few million bloggers and indy sites that know more then this and have more consistant information. This is pathetic. GET BETTER WRITERS! It is clear this writer does not play the game & gamers who NEED this news can see that.

I think you might be mistaken in the last line of your article. Heavy, Pyro, and Medic have already recieved their updates. Are you proposing that they will be recieving updates AGAIN? I think what you meant was: "Valve is planning to revamp each class - Soldier, Sniper, Spy, Demoman, and Engineer, eventually." Also: The Sandman is a bat which hits baseballs, not "the only scout weapon available AS A BASEBALL that helps launch to launch an attack."
