Tata Indicom Intros Walky Talky in Kolkata

In a separate announcement, the company said it will launch teleservices in the North East, Assam, and Jammu and Kashmir on August 15 this year.
Tata Indicom has newly launched its walky talky handsets/service in Kolkata.
Targeted at home users, the cordless walky talky handsets feature speaker, caller ID, a large phone book, and polyphonic ring tones.
Manufactured in China, the walky talky handsets are immediately available in Kolkata for Rs 1,299 a piece.
In a separate announcement, the company said it will launch teleservices in the North East, Assam, and Jammu and Kashmir on August 15 this year. It is already present in 18 circles across the country, and plans to add 10 million more mobile subscribers by the end of this fiscal.

Tata indicom Walky prepaid advertised in its own official website and local electronic media is actually not made avilable as on date in Bhubaneswar proving company's lack of credibility.

it is good to know that telecom sector is booming in india. the walky talky hand set is manufactured in china, why india cant manufacture?we need to develope that hardware industry also

Dear concern,This is regarding your newly launched tata walky talky.which i purchased this yesterday only(cost- 1299/-).But i wanted to continue My old No in this new one.This hasbeen activated from tata indicom.But still its not been activated.Iam very sad that my no. is not working.Spoken to tata indicom they are telling its min issue.But after getting min ,its not activating.phone is also showing Locked.Now im fully handicap .kindly guide me what should i do.?have i did mistake to take your newly launched walky.Previously My no. was working fine.Now every body is unable to contact with me.kindly help on urgent.I will be very greatfull to you.
